The Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo (Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World) celebrated its 7th edition in 2022 with the theme: “Conviviality, sustainability and innovation: the ingredients of Italian cuisine for people's health and the protection of the plant.” The event took place from November 14 to November 20, 2022.
Since its launch in 2015, the initiative successfully has held more than 1,000 events in over 100 countries, and in 2022 continues its mission to positively contribute to the perception, appreciation, and consumption of Authentic Italian food throughout the US market.
Macello Cucina di Puglia was the Italian restaurant selected in the city of Chicago to participate in this worldwide initiative. The restaurant listed in their regular menu, as a special, “Il Tagliere,” a selection of PDO and GPI Italian cheeses and cured meats served on a charcuterie board. “Il Tagliere” was available in the regular menu of the restaurant throughout the promotional week of November 14-20, 2022.
