US delegates attend Maker faire rome 2017
The Maker Faire Rome - The European Edition is the most important edition of the Maker Faire series outside the two flagship events (Bay Area and New York) in the United States. The fourth edition of Maker Faire Rome took place December 1-3, 2017 at the Fiera di Roma, in Rome, Italy. This year it registered over 100,000 visitors.
The Italian Trade Agency via its Head Office and foreign network supported this year's event by bringing foreign delegates from around the world, including such countries as the United States, Japan, Canada, Norway, Holland, Germany and the United Kingdom. The 35 invited delgates provided a greater prominence and visibility to the stages of conferences, workshops and educational events that took place during the three day event. The US delegation, consisting of 16 delegates, had the highest number of foreign representatives at the 2017 event. The night before the Faire, a welcome event was arranged for the delegates with representatives from the Italian government, Innova Camera, and others from the international business and academic communities.
The Italian Trade Agency looks forward to continuing its involvment and support at future Maker Faire events worldwide.
