ITALY AT U.S. BOOK SHOW 2022 -

Opening on May 23 and ending on May 26, the second U.S. Book Show (#USBookShow) online gathering of the publishing industry goes live.

Italian Trade Agency, through the publishing task force based in the Chicago office, and in collaboration with the Italian Publishers Association (AIE), is participating in US Book Show 2022 by organizing the Italian collective, Italian Hall, with 16 companies including publishing houses and literary agencies: AG Solutions, Carthusia, CSA Editrice, De Agostini, Golinelli, Graphofeel, Gruppo Albatros, Kaba Edizioni/Al 3 Vie, Paesi Edizioni, Prinp di Salani Dario, Scripta Maneant, Storie Cucite, Tunuè, Ventura Edizioni, Vinciana Editrice, ZOOLibri.

The Italian Hall is the only foreign national pavilion at the fair.

The U.S. Book Show has replaced BookExpo, a historic trade show in attendance organized annually in New York City by ReedPop, Publishers Weekly, and others.

The new event is sponsored exclusively by Publishers Weekly (PW) magazine, which for the second time, due to pandemic, has chosen to hold the event in a digital format. Focused on the physical book, the fair particularly highlighted the latest releases planned for fall 2022 attracting a considerable number of booksellers and librarians.

The U.S. Book Show serves the global bookselling and book publishing industry with top notch programming and robust online exhibits halls, providing the best backdrop for building buzz around books and connecting the publishing community.

The 2021 conference brought in 6,000+ registrants from North America and beyond representing 49 U.S. states and 36 countries.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a wide array of book and author panels, exciting keynote speakers and programming geared to publishing professionals, booksellers and librarians.
